A highly trained and certified 200 hour yoga instructor, Katherine is fully committed to helping you reach your yoga goals. If you have any questions about our policies or procedures please don’t hesitate to contact us.

At Yoga by Kate, we aim to provide a fun, friendly but safe and secure environment for each and every student irrespective of ability.

Please note that by accessing and using this service provided by Yoga by Kate, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, it is important to note that you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not commit to using this service.

We firmly believe that each and every member of our community (students and teachers) should be treated fairly and equally. Anyone and everyone is welcome however, we believe that all participants have a duty to treat each other with respect at all times.

It is paramount that we look after our students in a safe and supportive setting. Any concerns we may have in relation to health and safety, mental of physical abuse, bullying or mistreatment and general well being of a vulnerable adult or staff member will be dealt with appropriately and reported to authorities where necessary.

For the enjoyment and fairness to other students, we kindly ask that students arrive on time to each class, ready to begin the session. Please understand that due to disruption caused by late arrivals, arriving after the start time will mean you may no longer able to participate in the class.

It is important that all of our students enjoy their experience with us and therefore any behaviour that is unacceptable may result in students being asked to leave and potentially being suspended. Unacceptable behaviour is deemed as actions which negatively affect other students or staff members.

We endeavour to promote learning and want to both encourage and achieve the best from our students. In doing this, we will provide feedback on a regular basis. We aim to ensure that all feedback is constructive and beneficial to our students learning, and as such, will be delivered electronically, verbally and physically. We will occasionally physically correct students to help them understand placement and to ensure they are working safely. If you object to this or would like more detail, please make contact directly.

To ensure that all students are protected from hazards and any danger a risk assessment will be carried out prior to all classes. We are committed to safe practice and will not be held liable if an accident should occur.

‘Yoga by Kate' reserves the right to refuse a student’s participation in any class in the event that health/medical concerns are identified during either the booking process, or at any other time, unless a medical note/letter from the student’s doctor, approving such physical activity, has been provided.

To protect and achieve the best health of students and staff we ask that students who are unwell (with a contagious illness) do not attend class until they have recovered. We are not authorised to supply or administer students with any medication, or to provide medical advice.

All data given to us will be used for our own reference only and will be protected. For the purpose of safety please ensure that we are updated with any change in contact or emergency contact details. View our full privacy policy.
